1. People direct every film
AI is a production tool, not the author. Every film is written, directed, edited and approved by people. Nothing we generate is published or sent to an audience without human review and, for client work, the client's written approval.
2. AI use is disclosed
Films containing AI-generated or AI-altered imagery, video or voice are labeled as such where the law or platform rules require it, and we recommend disclosure even where optional. We set disclosure text per country and channel, including transparency obligations under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, Türkiye's commercial advertising regulation, US Federal Trade Commission guidance, and the AI-content labels of Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
3. Real people, likeness and voice
We do not recreate the face, body or voice of a real, identifiable person without that person's written consent. We do not create synthetic testimonials or present synthetic people as real customers, employees or experts.
4. Brands and trademarks
Client logos and trademarks are composited from files the client provides. We do not depict third-party brands or facilities in a way that suggests a relationship that does not exist. Demos that reference a company are private samples and are never published without that company's permission.
5. Truthful claims
Films state only claims the client confirms are accurate, such as capacities, certifications, safety records, delivery times, outcomes and coverage. AI-generated scenes are illustrations, not documentary records, unless built from the client's own footage and labeled accordingly.
6. Demo protection
Every demo is marked as ours. Demos carry a visible watermark and copyright notice, an AI-generated label and embedded rights metadata, are shared only by private, expiring, view-only links, and are delivered in preview quality. Demos are not licensed for any use; see our Terms of Use and Client Terms.
7. Client materials are not training data
Footage, photos, documents, voices and brand assets clients share are used only to deliver their project. We do not use them to train our own or third parties' foundation models, and we choose tool settings that prevent providers from training on them where available.
8. Models and licenses
We build on established model providers and open-weight models under their commercial license terms and track the license that applies to each tool. Licensed music, stock and fonts are cleared for the agreed media and territory.
9. Provenance
Every delivered film can come with a provenance sheet listing the models used, license terms, human edits and where disclosures appear. Where the format supports it, we attach content credentials (C2PA).
10. Safety and misuse
We decline work intended to deceive, impersonate, harass, mislead about safety, or evade sanctions or customs rules.
11. Concerns
If you believe a AndCut Films film is misleading, uses your likeness or brand without permission, or handles your data contrary to this policy, write to legal@andcutfilms.com.
